New Release of Go Comes with Stand-Alone Go Playground
New ‘gotry’ and ‘goplay’ tools for Google Go fans.
A new release of Google’s Go programming language, is now available.
Version 2010-10-13 gives Go fans two new tools: ‘gotry’ and ‘goplay,’ a stand-alone version of Google’s Go Playground. The log package has changed, so that loggers now have one output, and output to a standard error by default. The names have been changed and, although the old names are still currently supported, they will be deleted in the next Go release. Uses of pointers to interface values no longer automatically dereference the pointer.
