Flexi-time, remote working growing popular

Arun Mysore

Quoting a Vanson Bourne survey, Computing reports that half of large businesses encourage flexible and remote working. The top two advantages are: higher productivity (43%) and retention and hiring new staff (34%).

Distributed workforce will reshape enterprise IT and further boost the criticality of cloud and collaboration. According to the report, 35% of companies already use unified communications. A wide-range of IT professionals from architects to BPM professionals would have to be alert to the development.
