Critical Fix for HttpClient 4.0.3

An emergency release of HttpClient is out now.

HttpClient 4.0.3 fixes a critical regression in the SSL connection management code, introduced along with the improved support for multihome hosts in version 4.0.2. Upstream projects are encouraged to upgrade.

HttpClient attempts to provide a package implementing the client side of the most recent Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) standards and recommendations. It also provides support for the base HTTP protocol. Please note HttpClient 4.0 currently provides only limited support for NTLM authentication.

Apache Chemistry OpenCMIS 0.1.0 for CMIS

Version 0.1.0 of Apache Chemistry OpenCMIS is now available.

Apache Chemistry OpenCMIS aims to ease Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) for Java client and server developers, by providing APIs, Java libraries, frameworks, SPIs and test tools which allow developers to focus on the ECM domain model.

Second Release of Apache Vysper

The Apache MINA project have announced the second release of Apache Vysper: version 0.6.

Vysper is a modular XMPP server written in Java. This release introduces a full implementation of BOSH and features improvements to the multi-user chat implementation. A pubsub demo has been added in the Maven build and the nbxml-sax branch has been merged into the trunk.
