WANdisco To Hire New Subversion Committers

WANdisco have announced it will use the profits it receives from Subversion support contract sales, to benefit the Subversion community.

WANdisco plans to use the money to hire additional Subversion committers. This news comes after C. Michael Pilato revealed that no new full time committers had joined Subversion in the past year.

In addition to Subversion, WANdisco sponsors and contributes to the TortoiseSVN project.
