VMware Announce New Zimbra Email and Collaboration Solution
Zimbra Collaboration Suite Appliance is launched, and VMware announce Zimbra is now fully integrated within VMware.
VMware have launched a new email and collaboration solution delivered as a virtual appliance.
The Zimbra Collaboration Suite Appliance is designed to run on the VMware vSphere platform. The Suite comprises of email, contacts/address book, calendaring, document management, file sharing, tasks, and search and indexing functionality. It also comes with a cross-browser, cross-platform web client. An open source edition is available for download.
In related news, VMware have announced that the recently-acquired Zimbra is now fully integrated within VMware, and all Zimbra products are now available via VMware’s sales and channel partner ecosystem.
