Tools For Testing JavaScript Code Within Ruby and Rails

Martin Aumont has released ‘Harmony,’ a new Ruby Domain Specific Language (DSL) for executing JavaScript code within a Ruby application. This allows the developer to build Ruby-level unit tests for JavaScript code within their applications.

Developers using Rails, can access Harmony features with the HolyGrail testing plugin for front-end development. HolyGrail allows the execution of browser-less, console-based, Javascript code from within the Rails test suite.

Both Harmony and HolyGrail are available to download from github.
