The FDT Profiler is a tool that helps developers detect performance issues within a flash application. It provides a ‘memory’ approach to profiling, where the memory footprint of a flash application and every single object instance is controlled; and a ‘performance’ approach to profiling. Performance Profiling is the process of measuring the duration and number of method calls. In this screencast, you’ll get an introduction to FDT Profiler from the FDT core team.
