OpenJDK Developers’ Guide Gets Conceptual
A new draft of the OpenJDK Developers’ Guide is now online.
“The new guide is more conceptual and once completed is intended to be able to last for several releases without major updating,” reads Joseph D. Darcy’s announcement. He also reveals that some of the information from the existing guide will be migrated to a JDK 7 specific page.
This guide will initially be maintained as an HTML file, with new versions published as they become necessary, but there is some scope for the guide to move to either a wiki or a Mercurial repository.
