New Open Source Page At Twitter
The Twitter team have created a new webpage dedicated to the open source projects they have released or contributed to.
These include the Apache-hosted, distributed database Cassandra project and the Ruby client for Cassandra, cassandra.gem. The site also lists the Hadoop platform for analysing large data sets and the project’s high-level data-flow language and execution framework for parallel computation, Pig. In the Scala ecosystem, are the scala_build set of Ant tasks to aid the building of a Scala server or reusable library; and the Ostrich library for collecting and reporting application statistics from Scala.
For a full listing of the open source projects Twitter has been involved in, please see the new open source page at Twitter’s official website.
