New Java Messaging Service API

29West have announced a new Java Message Service (JMS) standard for Enterprise Messaging API for their Ultra Messaging product line. The JMS API combines Java technology with enterprise messaging, to deliver a tool for solving enterprise computing problems.

The JMS API builds on 29West’s recent Zero Object Delivery (ZOD) Java API that aims to minimise latency spikes resulting from the Java clean-up process “garbage collection.”

29West is currently analysing feedback from early adopter clients, in order to determine which features should be included in the first version of JMS API.

JMS API is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2010.
