Maintenance Release of VirtualBox
Version 3.1.6 of VirtualBox is now available.
VirtualBox is a virtualization product for enterprise and home use. It is also available as open source edition ‘VirtualBox OSE.’ Features only available in the closed-source edition include USB support, and a combination of a Remote Display Protocol server and USB support, which allows users to make USB devices available to virtual machines running remotely. More information on the differences between the editions, are listed at the ‘Editions‘ section of the VirtualBox website.
This is primarily a maintenance release of VirtualBox 3.1, which addresses numerous timing issues on hosts with Linux kernels 2.6.31 or later, and fixes memory corruption during ICMP traffic under certain circumstances.
