Mac-Friendly Version of Emacs Now Based on Cocoa
Aquamacs 2.0 is out now.
Aquamacs is a Mac-friendly variant of the Emacs editor. With Aquamacs, normal OS X keyboard commands are offered alongside the extended Emacs ones.
With this release, Aquamacs is now fully based on Cocoa, and the text display is fully based on Unicode. The dialogues for opening, saving, and printing files, configuring fonts and colours, and displaying user messages have all been updated. It can be downloaded now.
