JSR 334 Enters Public Review
JSR 334 reaches final expected milestone before proposed final draft.
JSR 334 has now entered public review. There are a few changes in this public draft review (v0.875) compared to the earlier draft review specification (v0.75.) The specification for diamond has been expanded and clarified, with using diamond on a non-generic class now explicitly forbidden. There are several changes to the try-with-resources feature, including allowing an optional trailing semicolon to terminate the sequences of resources in a resource specification, as oppose to producing a syntax error. This public review draft is the final expected milestone before the proposed final draft.
