New Ajax UI Channel

Jspresso Framework 3.5.0 Gets Groovy DSL

Jessica Thornsby

Version 3.5.0 of the Jspresso framework for building rich internet applications, is out now.

Jspresso based applications aim to offer the same ergonomics as desktop applications, while maintaining an N-tier, server-centric architecture on a Java backend. Jspresso-based applications can be deployed either in Adobe’s Flex, qooxdoo, WingS, ULC or Swing.

This release introduces a new Groovy-based DSL for describing and assembling the different application layers, and a new, qooxdoo JavaScript-based Ajax UI channel. Version 3.5.0 also comes with an Eclipse plugin for supporting SJS authoring though syntax colouring and code completion.
