JDK 7 Feature List is Updated
Still delayed, but new features added.
It may still be delayed, but there is some good news: the JDK 7 feature list has been updated.
The feature list now describes plans to upgrade the handling of locales to separate formatting locales from user-interface language locales. A NIO.2 filesystem provider for zip/jar archives has been added, alongside APIs for filesystem access, scalable asynchronous I/O operations, and socket-channel binding and configuration.
TLS 1.2 and JDBC 4.1 have been added, and the supported version of Unicode has been updated from version 5.1, to 6.0.
