Gliffy Launch Plugins for Confluence and JIRA
Gliffy have announced Gliffy Plugin for Confluence 3.0 for Atlassian Confluence, and the Gliffy Plugin for JIRA 3.0 for Atlassian JIRA.
The Gliffy Plugin for Confluence, brings the Gliffy Diagram Editor to the Confluence Enterprise Wiki. All diagrams created with the Gliffy Confluence Plugin are stored inside Confluence, and any network security precautions implemented for Confluence will automatically be carried over to the Gliffy Confluence Plugin. Meanwhile, the Gliffy Plugin for JIRA brings the Gliffy Diagram Editor to JIRA, stores its diagrams within JIRA, and conforms to the security precautions implemented for JIRA. Both products are available free, for academic and open source projects.
This release comes with new symbols, including Venn diagram shapes and Sitemap shapes, and new skins for the Basic and Flowchart shapes. This version introduces templates, and replaces the Document Manager with a Template Manager. Version 3.0 also gets drawing guides, for showing different alignments when a shape is dragged onto the visible page.
