GitHub’s Pull Requests Gets New Views with 2.0 Release
GitHub update their Pull Requests feature with revision awareness and a new discussion view.
GitHub have announced the release of Pull Requests 2.0.
Pull Requests are now revision aware, which means they take into account where the intended changes are to be applied, and a new discussion view presents all pull request related activity as it unfolds. This is supported by the Commits and Files Changed tabs, which show the cumulative progress of the pull request. Every pull request has its own URL, allowing linking and indexing by search engines.
The new pull request dashboard offers an overview of all pull requests across every repository the individual is linked to.
