First Chapter of Free ‘Continuous Integration with Hudson’ Book

The first chapter of the ‘Continuous Integration with Hudson‘ open source book, is now available to download.

The book claims to teach developers how to build a CI infrastructure using Hudson, and aims to be both a tutorial-style introduction to the technology, and a reference for implementing Continuous Integration and automating the build process with Hudson. It will also include tips on using the Hudson Continuous Integration tool.

This book will be freely available online or in PDF form. Chapters will be uploaded as they are completed, and a printed version of the book will also be available to purchase.

The ‘First Steps with Hudson’ chapter can be viewed online now. Forthcoming chapters include ‘Build pipelines and build promotion strategies,’ ‘Automated Code Quality Metrics’ and ‘Writing Hudson plugins.’
