Firefox for Android and Maemo Enters Beta

The beta of Firefox for Android is now available to download.

Firefox 4 Beta 1 for Android and Maemo is based on the same technology platform as Firefox 4 for desktop computers. Thus, it features Firefox Sync, Add-ons, the Awesome Bar and a personalised Start page. It can also offer location-aware browsing and smart tapping.

Firefox for Android is compatible with Android 2.0 and above devices. A list of supported devices is available at the Firefox website.
