Apache RAT Tool for Checking Releases
Apache Release Audit Tool gets support for Python scripts, C source files and Unix shell scripts.
Apache Release Audit Tool (RAT) 0.7 is now available.
RAT aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency when checking releases. It is designed to make guesses regarding possible problems, which means it may produce false positives and therefore its reports do require interpretation. According to the website, RAT was developed in order to review releases for common faults, less labour intensively.
This release adds support for Python scripts, C source files, Unix shell scripts (.sh) and Windows batch files. Ant task can now output report as XML and users can specify a custom XSLT stylesheet for reports.
