XML Object Model

XOM Version 1.2.5

Version 1.2.5 of XOM is now available to download.

XOM is an open source, XML object model.

XOM has a dual streaming/tree-based API for processing XML with Java, and depends on a SAX parser to read documents and feed the data into a tree structure. The developer should be able to process individual nodes in the tree while the document is still being built.

XOM supports several XML technologies, including Namespaces in XML, XPath 1.0, XSLT 1.0, XInclude, xml:id, xml:base, and Canonical XML. XOM documents can be converted back and forth between SAX and DOM.

More information can be viewed at the Release Notes.
