Is VMware about to acquire EngineYard?

According to an article published by Stacey Higginbotham, VMware is currently in talks to acquire the Ruby on Rails cloud provider, whose products include AppCloud and the xCloud extensible platform for Rails applications.

SpringSource, a division of VMware, recently announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to buy GemStone Systems, after acquiring Rabbit Technologies in April.
