Version 0.8.0 M5 of Xtext IDE Released

Version 0.8.0 of the Xtext language-specific integrated development environment (IDE) for development of domain specific languages (DSLs) and programming languages, has released its fifth milestone. Xtext is integrated with the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) and leverages the Eclipse Platform in order to provide a language-specific integrated development environment (IDE.)

Xtext 0.8.0 M5 features 60 bug fixes, and introduces auto editing, for example closing parenthesis will be automatically added for any opening ones. The Label Provider now supports StyledStrings, allowing it to be used to style the labels of your model elements; and a new MWE reader component has been added allowing the scanning of model elements on the classpath or a given set of directories.

Full details can be viewed at the New & Noteworthy.
