U.S. VOIP vendors launch ‘Cloud Communications Alliance’

Several VOIP vendors of USA have launched the Cloud Communications Alliance (www.cloudcommunications.com), reports Web Host Industry Review (WHIR).

The members of the consortium will reportedly coordinate on the adoption of new technical standards, capabilities and applications. The synchronisation of the networks of different members of the consortium would create a seamless HD voice network all over USA, WHIR noted. 

The eight founding member companies are: Alteva, Broadcore, Callis Communications, Consolidated Technologies Inc., IPFone, SimpleSignal, Stage 2 Networks and Telesphere.
