Apache UIMA Java SDK 2.3.1 Released

Apache UIMA Java SDK 2.3.1 has been released. Apache UIMA offers a
framework and component architecture for analysing unstructured
content, for example audio data and video. This release includes
the UIMA Java SDK, but not additional components, such as UIMA-AS
and the AddOns. This release features improvements to the CAS
editor and a performance fix for the Component Descriptor

Weld 1.1.0 CR1 Arrives Ahead of JBoss AS

The Weld reference implementation of JSR-299 has reached
1.1.0 CR1. This release is based on the CDI 1.0
API. It comes with a new approach to managing contexts, and
reported improvements in performance and startup time. Weld 1.1.0
will eventually be included in JBoss AS 6.0.0.Final.

First Release for Spring Data Redis Support

The first milestone release of Spring Data Redis Support
1.0, has been announced. This project aims to facilitate the
building of Spring-powered apps that use data access technologies,
for example map-reduce frameworks and cloud-based data services.
The Redis modules can integrate with Redis key-value store. This
milestone includes a connection package as a low-level abstraction
across multiple drivers and JDK Collection implementations on top
of Redis.

Terrastore 0.8.0 With Active Event

Terrastore 0.8.0 has been announced. The Terrastore open
source Java document database now features map/reduce processing,
and the events management infrastructure now provides access to
additional event-related data, including both the new and updated
version of the changed document. The event listeners can now work
as active components, in regard to data contents, and Terrastore
provides optional document and communication compression.
