Spring Framework Component

Spring Web Flow 2.1 Gets Spring Security 3 and Spring 3

Jessica Thornsby

Version 2.1 of Spring Web Flow is built on Spring Security 3, Portlet API 2.0, Spring 3, and Tiles 2.1.2.

Spring Web Flow version 2.1 is now available.

Spring Web Flow is a component of the Spring Framework’s web stack that focuses on defining and executing user interface flow within a web application.

Spring Web Flow 2.1 is built on Spring Security 3, Portlet API 2.0, Spring 3, and Tiles 2.1.2. It introduces initial support for JSF 2, meaning that developers can now use Mojarra or Apache MyFaces JSF 2 dependencies along with the Faceletes implementation that comes bundled with JSF 2 jars. Please note that Spring Web Flow 2.1 doesn’t purposefully target any JSF 2 features. More information is available at the What’s New file.
