Rich Web Applications

Spring Web Flow 2.1.0 RC1 Released

Jessica Thornsby

The first release candidate of Spring Web Flow 2.1.0 is now available.

Spring Web Flow builds on the Spring Web MVC framework to provide the infrastructure for building and running rich web applications. It comes with a domain-specific-language for defining reusable controller modules, support for using JavaServerFaces (JSF) with Spring, and support for using Ajax to construct rich user interfaces.

This releases moves closer to providing initial support for JSF 2, and features new Ivy configurations which allow booking-faces to be recompiled with Mojarra and MyFaces 2 and 1.2. The Spring Web Flow documentation has also been updated for all Web Flow 2.1 related changes.
