Spring Social 1.0.0 M2 Released
New Spring Social milestone adds service provider framework and support for connecting to OAuth1 and OAuth2-based service providers.
The second milestone of Spring Social has been
released. This project allows users to integrate APIs exposed by
SaaS providers, including Facebook and Twitter, into their
applications. This milestone adds a service provider framework that
aims to simplify connecting local user accounts to hosted service
providers, and full support for connecting to OAuth1 and
OAuth2-based service providers from a Java/Spring web application
environment. Users can also authenticate with the application by
signing in with their Facebook and Twitter accounts. More
information on these new features, is available at the Changelog.
