Sources Claim LINUX SUSE’s Novell To Be Sold in Two Parts
The New York Post claim that Novell Inc. will be sold in two parts and de-listed.
According to the New York Post, the Novell Inc. provider of
infrastructure software has reached a deal “in principle” to sell
itself in two parts. The part that develops and delivers Linux SUSE
systems, will be sold to a strategic buyer, and a private-equity
firm will purchase the second half.
According to “people close to the process” cited by the New York
Post, both deals are expected to close simultaneously, and the
company will be de-listed. The publication’s sources did not name
either potential buyer.
