The Studio aims to provide an Eclipse Integrated Development Environment specifically optimised for Maven. Promised features, include one-click onboarding for assembling a new working development environment. Other features currently in the pipeline, are license management to ensure that all license headers and attribution files are present in the project; and Tomcat integration. According to the press release, it should be possible to launch and monitor Hudson builds from within the Eclipse IDE.

It is built on M2Eclipse.

Maven Studio for Eclipse is planned for release in the second quarter of 2010.
