PerfMon4j 1.1.0 is out now, with added functionality for revealing the percentage of processing time an application spends in SQL.

PerfMon4j is an API for diagnosing and monitoring application performance. Features include random sampling, UserAgent Tracking and nested timings. It was designed to be deployed in production environments, to monitor system metrics and usage patterns. PerfMon4j's Java byte code manipulation is implemented with the Javaasist Byte Code library.
