Version 2.2 of the Parrot virtual machine for the Rakudo Perl 6 implementation, is now available from the Parrot website. In addition to Perl 6, Parrot hosts Javascript, Ruby, Lua, Scheme, PHP, and a .NET bytecode translator.

With this version, support for Sun cc and Intel icc have been restored, and most internal allocations now use the GC.
