Oracle have announced that they have agreed to acquire Phase Forward, for an estimated $685 million.

Phase Forward provides SaaS-based, integrated data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety. Products include Phase Forward’s InForm Global Trial Management system, and the WebSDM application, which allows users to load SDTM-format study data, correct errors and inconsistencies, and browse data in both tabular and graphical formats.
