Thirty New Companies Join OpenStack Community

OpenStack Add Support for VirtualBox

After its launch a few weeks ago, OpenStack has added support for three new hypervisors.

After launching a few weeks ago, OpenStack has added
support for three new hypervisors: KVM, XenServer and
VirtualBox.

The team have also revealed that since the launch, 35 bugs have
been fixed, and more than 30 companies have joined the OpenStack
community, including Cloud Central, Morphlabs, and MidoKura.

to Jim Curry, the lead for the OpenStack.org
initiative, who described the project as “Apache for web servers or
Linux for operating systems” and defined the team ‘s goal as making
“it possible for anyone, anywhere to stand up a cloud.” More
