OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 RC6 Supports Up To 1 Million Rows!

Jessica Thornsby

Sixth release candidate for OpenOffice.org.

The sixth release candidate for OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 has been released. OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 RC6 users can define DataTime values and values that contain a duration, in addition to defining custom document properties as name/value pairs. For the security conscious, OpenOffice.org Writer and Calc now allow two levels of document protection, as users can now set a password to protect a document against unwanted changes, in addition to saving a document with a password that protects against unauthorised users accessing the content. OpenOffice.org Calc spreadsheets can support up to one million rows, an improvement on 65,536 rows. The RC can be downloaded now.
