Jon Brisbin has open sourced a Listener that can be installed into tcServer instances to relay internal Lifecycle events to the cloud.

This vcloud component allows remote management software to monitor the JVMs of processes running in the cloud, without resorting to continuous-polling scenarios.

The Listener relies on RabbitMQ AMQP Java client libraries and Jackson JSON Parser/Generator.
