JAX London 2014: A retrospective
OpenFaces 3.0 Early Access

Now with JSF 2.0 Support

Jessica Thornsby

The first early access milestone of OpenFaces 3.0 is now available.

OpenFaces 3.0 features support for building JSF 2.0 based applications. Please note that state saving during OpenFaces Ajax requests still has some issues, and CompositeFilter component functionality isn’t available yet.

OpenFaces 3.0 will be developed in parallel with OpenFaces 2.0, but they will target different versions of JSF. OpenFaces 3.0 is the JSF 2.0 release, and OpenFaces 2.0 supports JSF 1.2.

The final release for the OpenFaces 3.0 version is expected in June.
