RightScale and NorthScale have announced the release of NorthScale's Membase NoSQL database technology, within the RightScale's Cloud Management Platform. RightScale users can now leverage NorthScale's elastic data management software.

NorthScale Membase Server is a key-value database for storing web application data, which aims to enable organisations to deploy a cloud-friendly data layer that expands and rebalances as the application requires. The NorthScale Membase ServerTemplate is available now in all RightScale Cloud Management Platform editions.
