Version 1.0 of the HawtDispatch thread pooling and NIO handling framework API, is out now.

HawtDispatch is modeled after the libdispatch API, which Apple created to power the Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) technology in OS X. HawtDispatch aims to facilitate the development of multi-threaded applications, and solves many of the problems that can arise from multi-threaded NIO development.
