Version 1.8.1 of the Apache Ant pure Java build tool, is now available.

Apache Ant is a software tool for automating software build processes. It uses XML to describe the build process and is released under the Apache Software License.

This release introduces a new task augment that allows the user to add attributes or nested elements to previously defined references, in addition to numerous bug fixes.
