New Set of Eclipse LTK Refactorings for Java

jt

Nirav Thaker has announced a beta version of an Eclipse plugin offering automated refactoring for Legacy Code.

This collection of standard Eclipse refactoring is based on the common Lisp binding for the Tk graphics toolkit. It aims to improve testability of monolithic legacy Java code and automate code transformation, as manually transforming each and every static invocation is time consuming, and there’s a high possibility of errors when it comes to complex classes.

The plugin is available to download from google code.
