A first release candidate (RC) of jEmbedded version 0.2 has been announced.

jEmbedded is an IoC (inversion of control) based Service Oriented Container (SOC) for integration of SOA/RIA applications, which implements Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) using the jee/java and ruby programming languages. It aims to encourage re-usability by allowing the user to test services against the included test integration infrastructure.

jEmbedded comes complete with a Maven based plugin, and features Spring support.

New features in version 0.2 RC1 include the ability to create services and components using annotations only; and additional support for controlling proxies with the Properties interfaces and proxyClass.
