New Rubik Cube Game Written in JavaFX
Enrique Oriol has written a Rubik’s Cube game in JavaFX version 1.2. This app allows the user to view a Rubik cube from different perspectives and to rotate one ‘slice’ of the cube. Oriol has extended the Polygon class of each coloured face to relate them with their 3D points. This allows the movement to be applied directly to these points.
The effects have all been created without the use of a 3D engine.
