Atricore have launched a new open source platform for federated identity services: Aticore Identity Bus.

It includes a pluggable architecture, allowing organizations to use their preferred identity stack; and has the ability to realise both Identity Provider (Inbound) and Service Provider (Outbound) operational roles.

It is designed to work with existing enterprise identity management infrastructures from a variety of vendors, and leverages the Spring container . It is compatible with Java Open Single Sign-On, and supports Java EE and OSGi.
