New In-Memory Implementation For Ruby

jt

Jonathan Weiss has released RockingChair, an in-memory CouchDB implementation in Ruby for RESTful CouchDB client couchrest and convenience wrapper SimplyStored. It allows tests to be run against an in-memory database, instead of depending on CouchDB.

RockingChair intercepts the HTTP-API calls of couchrest with a HTTPAdapter, and then delegates those calls to the in-memory database.

RockingChair is licensed under the OpenBSD / two-clause BSD license, and is available to download from github.
