Following Tavis Ormandy's proof of concept regarding a security vulnerability in the Java Deployment Toolkit, and the revelation that hackers were actively exploiting this vulnerability, Mozilla have disabled the affected versions of the Java Deployment Toolkit plugin for Firefox users.

Oracle recently issued a patch to fix the issue.
