OpenJDK Test Framework

jtreg 4.1 Released

Jessica Thornsby

Version 4.1 of jtreg is now available.

jtreg is the test harness used by the OpenJDK test framework, which is intended primarily for regression tests. It can be used for unit tests, functional tests, and simple product tests.

In this release, limited support has been added for running JUnit tests, and users can now specify an alternate JDK to be used for any @compile actions in a test. Components about to be added to a path are now checked by jtreg 4.1 in order to confirm that they identify an existing file or directory.

jtreg 4.1 can be downloaded now.
