JPPF Version 2.1

Jessica Thornsby

Version 2.1 of JPPF is now available.

JPPF aims to enable applications with large processing power requirements to run on more than one computer, by splitting the application into smaller parts that can then be executed simultaneously on different machines.

With this release, the JPPF server now executes multithreaded network input/output (I/O) and the custom load-balancers can use information about the nodes’ environment and configuration. The developer can also specify the number of concurrent threads performing I/O in the server. There are also a number of bug fixes. Please see the Release Notes for more information.

The Source Code is available from SourceForge. Please see the JPPF website for download links.
