Jodd is an open source Java utility library, which extends the JDK with various utilities like BeanUtils, Madvoc and Petite.

The Java Library Jodd 3.2.7 has been released. Jodd is an open source Java utility library (subtitled “The Unbearable Lightness of Java”), which extends the JDK with various utilities like BeanUtils, Madvoc (MVC Framework) and Petite (dependency injection container). Jodd is based on the principles of CoC (Convention over Configuration), DRY (Do not Repeat Yourself) and SCS (Simple Common Sense), and is developed under the BSD license.


In the new version, the development team has taken care of the mapping of non-tabular columns on beans and the expansion of ClasspathScanner. Further information can be found in the Project History page.
