Version 1.0 of Joda-Convert is out now.

Joda-Convert provides a set of classes to facilitate the conversion between Objects and Strings. In terms of extending the list of supported conversions, it supports both writing your own converter implementing an interface and annotations. If Joda-Convert is asked to convert between an object and a String and there is no registered converter, then the annotations are checked. It depends on JDK 1.5 or later.
